INSTALLED BUILDING PRODUCTS ANNOUNCES THE ACQUISITION OF
SOUTHERN INSULATORS BASED IN COVINGTON, LOUISIANA
– Acquisition Adds Approximately $5 Million of Annualized Revenue –
Columbus, Ohio, August 15, 2016. Installed Building Products, Inc. (the “Company” or “IBP”) (NYSE: IBP), an industry-leading installer of insulation and complementary building products, announced today the acquisition of Southern Insulators & Specialties, LLC (“Southern”). Located in Covington, Louisiana, Southern has provided installation services, primarily fiberglass insulation and spray foam insulation to residential customers since 2007.
“Southern has a large presence in the state of Louisiana with trailing-twelve month revenues of approximately $5 million,” stated Jeff Edwards, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “In addition, Southern has a strong relationship with the top homebuilder in the state, as a result of their focus on customer service. Since the beginning of the year, we have completed six acquisitions representing nearly $53 million of annual revenue and our pipeline of potential acquisitions remains robust. We are well on our way for another strong year of acquisition growth.”
