Our Leaders

Mr. Hicks serves as the Managing Vice President of Aster Contractors Holdings, LLC, a subsidiary of our company, a role he has held since May 2025. He initially joined the company as Director of Investor Relations in March 2021, became the head of Investor Relations in June 2022, and was promoted to Vice President in June 2024. Mr. Hicks remains the head of Investor Relations. Prior to his tenure at Installed Building Products, Mr. Hicks accumulated extensive experience in both finance and operations within early-stage startups across Ohio and New York. In these roles, he played a key part in financial forecasting and operational efficiency strategies. Before transitioning to corporate leadership in 2017, he was a Director at Evercore ISI, the research, sales, and trading division of Evercore, an independent investment banking advisory firm based in New York City. There, he led coverage of the Surface Transportation and Logistics industry and contributed significantly to the Small-Mid Cap Marine Transportation and Offshore Oilfield Service sectors. Mr. Hicks began his career as an Equity Research Analyst at J.P. Morgan, focusing on the Industrials sector as part of an Institutional Investor All-America Research team from 2005 to 2011. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and graduated magna cum laude from Morehouse College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, concentrating in Finance.
